Your tour will start in the morning around 06:00 AM. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel / Airport or other desired location in New Delh and proceed to Agra through Yamuna express way by private car. This will take around 3 hrs to reach Agra. On arrival, Check-in to the hotel and meet with your guide. Afterwards, proceed to visit Taj Mahal.

The Taj Mahal is the epitome of Mughal art and one of the most famous buildings in the world. Later proceed to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you will have the best view of the Taj Mahal.

Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site spread over 2.5 km and made of red stone. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty till 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi.

 

Note: Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday.

Later we will proceed towards Mehtab Bagh (the sunset point), back side view of Taj Mahal. Here you will see the magnificent reflection of Taj Mahal over the river Yamuna during the time of sunset. Here you will also explore the sunset view of a Taj Mahal. Overnight stay at Agra.

After breakfast, proceed for city sightseeing tour of Agra visiting Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb known as Baby Taj. It was buitl by Nooejahan in the memory of her father. With its highly ornate edifice, this mausoleum is considered as the predecessor of the Taj Mahal as far as elaborate carvings and inlay work are concerned.

Check-out from the hotel and proceed to Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved red stone, which was the estranged capital of Mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 A.D. It is also known as “Ghost City”.

Afterwards drive back to Delhi in the evening, from where you would be directly transferred to the airport/ railway station for the journey back home.
